Islez

Islez fell in love with House and Trance music as a teenager but being partially deaf, never imagined DJing was an opportunity open to him. He started DJing in 2020 when we were in lock down when his mate, Rob, introduced him to waveforms on his mixer which changed his life. Fast track to now and here he is DJing for House of the South as well as private parties and venues like the Highcliff Sailing Club. He has always been musical playing piano and guitar, and spent a lot of years making tacks on cue base from his teens. His favourite genres are melodic and progressive house/techno, Afro house Amapiano, Trance uplifting. I would love to go b2b with Chicane, Marsh, Simon Doty or Franky Wah.

Inspired by the sense of community experienced at early raves, his sole aim is to use the love of music to bring people together.
