DEMOTAPE with House of the South & Affiliate @ The Bell

Join us for our first ever DEMOTAPE producer showcase party at The Bell hosted by Bournemouth based House of the South and Affiliate record labels.

All the music you will hear is 100% produced by the DJs sharing their passion for making music they love. Please come and show support for the DJs who’ve spent many years between them building their back catalogues to be able to bring you exclusive sets never heard anywhere before.

Pete B had an amazing 2025 topping the BeatPort Progressive charts with his brilliant track Shout At God. Pete B’s record label Affiliate has been winning plaudits for their great work and regularly feature on the Beatport music charts

IAMU has been prolifically producing music over the past few years with quality underground house and tech house with some techno in the mix. IAMU has been playing regularly on Dance Nation UK radio station and is currently working with a team in Germany backed by Toolroom Academy to start releasing his music to the world. This is a great opportunity to see IAMU in Bournemouth before he starts gigging all over Europe in 2026 and 2027.

Stu Tones will deliver a full set of his original music produced over the last 3 years ranging from uplifting piano and vocal house to more underground tech house and trance. There will be new tracks and some familiar tunes that you may have heard Stu drop into his sets before but this will be the first time he has ever played an entire set of his own work.

Milsum (formerly known as ANDY.M) has been passionate about playing uplifting and crowd pleasing progressive at House of the South events and has now turned his hand to producing his own tunes and will be playing them out in public for the very first time.

Brian Holt is a regular at House of the South and House of Trance renowned for his high energy DJ sets. Brian will be delivering a full set of his own house, tech house and trance music productions for the first time.

DEMOTAPE is our new concept designed to support local producer DJs get up on stage sharing their own music to get a feel from the crowd in a club environment with a brilliant sound system, lasers, smoke machine and visuals.

If you enjoy discovering original music and artists then DEMOTAPE is a great opportunity to listen to something different and support emerging artists.

If you are a producer and would like to appear at future DEMOTAPE events please come along and  help make this event successful so we can do more in future. It is an opportunity to meet the record label heads if you are interested in releasing tracks and meeting other producers.

If you are a promoter or venue looking for new original artists to add to your nights then this a good opportunity to check out local talent.

The goal of this new night is to create something unique where the focus is on the art of music as much as dancing and having a great time. This is very much a passion project and we would love all your support.

This is free entry all night and we hope lots of the House of the South and Affiliate community will be there making it the start of something special.

There is free on street car parking near The Bell and there is a paid carpark around the corner on Seabourne Road (below the Dolphin Mews building).  The Bell is also directly opposite Pokesdown station making it easy to get to by train.

We will start at 8pm and end at midnight. See you on the dance floor!
